Prompt: diamond, book, upset, lost, sprinting
“Grandpa,” Rachel said in a whiny voice, “What’s this book?”
The man woke up from his nap with a jolt. He beckoned the small girl over to sit on his knee and opened the dusty, old book that he thought he had lost.
He remembered the wedding like it was yesterday, although it was his diamond anniversary last year.
The wedding ceremony was as beautiful. Afterwards, he remembered sprinting into the bushes with his wife on his arm. He looked into the child’s eyes and was too upset to bare.
“You look so much like your grandma,” he said with a gentle smile.

Hi Erica,
This was a beautiful read; I got swept up in the emotion of your sentimental storyline and an elderly relative sharing his memories of such a special day. Well done!
Keep on writing, you clearly have a wonderful talent for it.
