The Moon Squasher, by Erika, Year 5

The first time you ride a bike, write a story, sing a song, or walk, you stare at the beautiful, glowing stars right above you. There is only one thing that is more beautiful and glowing than stars. It’s the moon. Whenever you think about the moon, you would think that it’s the most stunning thing in the universe. Right?

Well, there is one person who doesn’t agree with everyone else and that person is in that picture squashing the moon. Just because he doesn’t like the moon, he squashed it together and no-one can enjoy that stunning moon anymore.
