There once was a man named Captain Book. Even though he had the last name Book, it didn’t make him want to read any. When he was traveling with his eleven boats to go to Terra Australis he couldn’t read the map so he ended up going to New Zealand. He felt really ill on the trip so he decided to self quarantine.
Some people with face masks, who were obviously doctors, came to visit him. They diagnosed him with a rare disease called Big Toe Syndrome; it meant that his fingers would fall off! So then he killed himself…

Hey, New Zealand isn’t too bad a place to live and Michelle 🙂
I can understand that this poor fellow had a real conundrum when faced with BTS, but it does seem a little drastic that he took his life rather than lose his fingers. I’m sure our NZ doctors would have found a cure for him.
I enjoyed your correct sentence structures. It’s pleasing to read work where commas are used correctly.
