The Clothing Catastrophe, by Zachary, Year 5

One cold morning in the middle of winter, there was a boy called Rufus who loved to wear the best clothes. This morning was a bit different because it was the first day back to school and when he went to his cupboard to retrieve his uniform, it wasn’t there. Rufus found it dirty in the laundry basket. He rushed to put his white clothes in the washing machine. After the clothes came out of the machine, they were still white, but they were minuscule and sticky. The calendar was right above him and Rufus looked up and saw that it was still Sunday. Whoops!
