My dad is a meteorologist and he’s always talking about global warming. He worries about our future so he’s dedicated his work to making a brighter alternative.
Our use of coal and electricity have been dramatically changing the temperature of our planet. The effect of this means that we are making the seasons in some areas hotter and in other areas, colder, and wetter.
When I grow up, I want to help my dad and save the world as well. My dad just told me about Antarctica, so I asked, ‘What do you think will happen if the ice caps have completely melted?”.

I think this is a very well written piece. I particularly like how you made your Dad an expert. This implies that you have some expert knowledge and know what you are talking about. I like also how you raise the issue in a calm manner and raise the importance of action and asking questions. Well done.
