One day, at the palace there was a manager who loved to help the Queen in any way possible. He wanted to hire a person to do some jobs and set off to find the perfect person. He needed someone that was wise, quick at doing jobs and staying on task. The manager interviewed many people, but couldn’t find the perfect fit. After looking at so many different people’s talents, he nearly gave up. Suddenly, he thought of one more person, himself, and realized that he had all the qualities of a cleaner. So, the manager still managed but would always clean the palace.

It was easy to see teh care you had taken in preparing your story, one I found interesting to read. My only suggestion might be to nit use “so” at the beginning of a sentence.
