Animalopolous, by Henry, Year 3

Prompt: ..why was that hat on the table?…

Once there was a great forest called Animalopolous and in the middle of it all was a snow-topped mountain. On an old tree stump table there sat an upside-down mystical magician’s hat that protected all of the animals in the forest.

Rumble! Crack! Bang! Avalanche! Falling snow came crashing down from the top of the mountain. A streak of grey came whooshing past. A wolf had saved the hat, clenching it in his teeth as he leapt out of the way of the crushing rocks and snow.

When the summer came the wolf safely returned the hat to the table.
