Hide and Seek, by Zachary M, Year 7

“Ahh, ha ha. Stop spraying me!” shouted Ollie. “Make me”, laughed Sam, spraying Ollie even more. Both boys were having fun grabbing the hose off one another, and didn’t notice Ollie’s favourite Lego character falling out of his pocket. “Lunch time, boys”, yelled their mum. “Race you”, said Sam, who had already started sprinting to the door. “Wait up”, shouted Ollie.

After lunch, Ollie was distressed to discover that his Lego was missing. “Let’s go and find it”, suggested Sam. Suddenly, Ollie started laughing. “Ha, seems my Lego character has made some new friends”. He pointed to it hiding amongst hundred of red and black ladybugs.
