The school bell rang and we were starting our Grade Six leadership project. We knew we wanted to build a statue out of foil but we couldn’t decide what it would be. Our teacher, Mr Hurst, said to build something and see what we could create.
We have been building the statue for a few hours now and it is huge. We have to stack ladders on top of ladders to reach the top. It is a statue of a man looking up, with a tiny head and gigantic feet. It looks great. When the other schools come to see our work they will be amazed.

Hi Caelie. Well done, I really enjoyed your 100 Word Challenge. That’s great advice from your teacher in the story – just start to create and see what happens! I love your ideas and the way your story has unfolded. Keep up the excellent writing Caelie.
