The Water, by Erika, Year 5

Prompt: …it looked just like a glass of water…

“Come on, shhhhhhh,” Lily whispered. “Grab the bottle and pour it in the cup quickly,” said Bella. Suddenly, their parents came into the room with a loud bang. Just in time, they closed the lid of the bottle.

They snuck into their bedroom and started drinking the liquid. That was such a good idea, they thought, but they didn’t know that their parents were listening the entire time about how they got the alcohol from the kitchen. It looked just like a glass of water.

Their parents got so mad at Bella and Lily and grounded them for one year.
