I slowly rose out of my bed and put on my glasses. My glasses weren’t transparent, because they were very spotty and bright yellow.

After I got dressed and had breakfast, I ran to my scooter and I excitedly rode to school. I couldn’t wait because my BFF was coming back to New South Wales from America. I was so glad she was coming back as I had been so lost without her. I failed in all of my tests because I was lonely and sad. No-one understood me like her. We had known each other since we were babies.
