Words to be used in writing: salt, brown, melted, giraffe, greasy
When I was 11 years old, my dad and I set up a lollie store with a giraffe theme because my dad has an abnormally long neck. My favourite lollies that we made were salted caramel and melted chocolate clumps.
To make salted caramel, you need sugar, cocoa, sea salt and milk. Put it in a greasy pot and set the right temperature. It will turn brown. When it has melted and cooled, it tastes like Heaven.
To make the chocolate clumps, you need cocoa, milk and sugar. Combine and let them set in clumps. Wallah! Chocolate clumps for you.

Hello Brooks, I love your opening sentence. What a great idea to have a giraffe theme because of the father’s name. I like how you have used the first person (I) to tell the story and to instruct how to make the caramel. Providing information about the narrator of the story really made me feel interested and wanting to read more.
