Words to be used in writing: avocado, purple, elephant, seahorses, bones
Running through orchards of avocado plants with my brother ducking as bullets flew overhead, I could see a purple sea, no more than five hundred metres ahead.
My brother barked out, ‘Come on, almost there. Do you want to be bones in the ground?” I shook my head, breathing heavily like an elephant, thinking of the sea teaming with life, from fish to seahorses.
Enduring on, for what felt like hours, we had finally reached the banks of the purple sea. The thought of a safe haven kept us going and finally we had hope of freedom.
