Dad came home the other day with a nutcracker in the shape of a crocodile. It’s made from metal and its colour is gun-metal grey. It reminded me of a time when we went Airley Beach for a family holiday. On the Friday, my family went on a crocodile safari. We had damper with jam and butter washed down with billy tea for morning tea.
The boat was lowered into the water by a big crane powered by a dirty red tractor with huge dusty wheels. It was exciting to watch. I was the first passenger on the boat so I saved a seat for my dad.
