… but I had to see what was inside…
On the morning of a hot Summer’s day, I was playing outside with my mum and dad. We were having so much fun until suddenly boom, boom the clouds went with lightning and thunder poured among the town as we ran inside. Then suddenly Dad brought a box inside. I didn’t know what was in it. Mum asked if I could go to my room, so I went to bed. It was early in the morning, but I had to see what was inside the box. As I peeked into the box something licked me. Then I opened the whole box and it was a puppy!!!

What a great surprise there was at the end of this story, although I was a bit worried thinking that the poor wee puppy had been stuck in the box for a whole night!
Perhaps you might start looking at where you can put your writing into paragraphs in the future so that it is easier to read for your audience.
