There I was, at school again, in the middle of a boring maths test! The problem was that I didn’t feel in a maths-testy mood, which meant that I was guessing all of the answers. A moment later, a girl in my class stood up and said, ‘Look everybody, look!’, as she was pointing outside, ‘There’s a horse’. Everyone stood up, including me. I was excited because I love horses. Sure enough, when I looked out of the classroom window I saw two beautiful black horses, one with a white blaze and a jewel-encrusted saddle on and the other with no markings, a saddle and a rider. They weren’t just any horses. The rider was my dad riding Lightning and holding my horse, Lucky, by the reins. ‘Sit down, class’, Mrs Summers said, ‘It’s my horse, Mrs Summers’, I replied. Just then the bell went and so she let me leave. After grabbing my bag and equipment, I ran out to great my dad and our horses. Yay, school’s over for me, at least for today anyway.
