Prompt words: evacuate, industry, red, urgent, afraid
Beep! Beep! I woke up. The intercom announced, “Please evacuate! Please evacuate!” I jumped out of the bed in my hotel. Everyone was out of their rooms and calling the emergency number on the board at the bottom of the stairs. There wasn’t a red light flashing, but I knew that it was urgent. It turned out that the shops below had accidentally set off the alarm and the industry had a bad night.
On the nights that followed, I was afraid that it would happen again, so it was hard to sleep, but it was still a great holiday.

I enjoyed reading your post but I have a question. When you say holiday what are you referring to in the United States when we use the word holiday we use it to describe a holiday such as Christmas, Halloween, or Thanksgiving but I am curious what you were trying to convey with that word.

Hi Brycen,
Thanks for your question.
In Australia we call vaccinations holidays and we call “holidays” “public holidays”.
