It wasn’t there when he had left the previous evening, but when Tim arrived that morning, there it was! Where had it come from? Where did it lead? There was only one way to find out. Slowly, step by step, Tim made his way up the ladder until he reached the top. He put his foot on the cloud and discovered that he could walk on it.
Tim walked for hours and hours until he came to a gigantic grey and black spaceship. He was amazed and frightened! Then he saw some ladders and thought he might investigate. He climbed up one of the ladders and came to a hall with hundreds of doors. He looked up into the corners and noticed some cameras. Were there people here? He couldn’t see anyone.
Tim looked in every room and still couldn’t find anyone, but then he found a control room. Tim looked up at a screen and noticed that it was for the cameras that were moving around in the hall. He watched the screen and he saw what looked like old knights making new knights out of bones. Tim thought that they looked like the Stormtroopers on TV.
Worried and afraid, Tim decided to get out of there as quickly as he could. He climbed as fast as he could back down the long ladder and noticed that the knights were attacking the village with their big swords.
There was cracking and shouting as the knights crashed into the houses to grab the frightened animals. The knights started to take the bones from the creatures and returned to the spaceship, pulling the ladder behind them.
For many weeks after the incident, Tim and the villagers rebuilt their homes. They were still scared of the knights coming back one day, but they never did.
