Prompt: …that’s when I knew I should run…
I was at Little Athletics and I was about to run a race. I was only eight years old. When the gun went, that’s when I knew I should run. I heard the gun and I started to run in the 800-metre race. I got up to the second lap and I was still tired, but I was winning. I am finished now! I have won it. I got gold, but I still said congratulations to everybody and I went home feeling happy. When I went to bed, I felt proud of myself. When I woke up, I was excited to run another race.
