Prompt: it was heavier than I expected…
I was at my Grandma’s palace exploring the 100,000 hectares of land that she owned. I was in the 56th art gallery when I found a weird glowing object in a glass cabinet. I was transfixed by the green glow of the egg-like item. It was hypnotising me and making me want to stare at it forever it. I just had to have it. I grabbed an ancient axe and smashed the glass, carefully lifting the egg off its perch. It was heavier than I expected. Then in a flash I was gone….

I love this story. You have chosen sone very interesting words that paint a vivid picture. The ending makes me want to find out more. You have a good variety of sentence types and lengths. Congratulations.
