I realised that my chocolates were slowly disappearing from the Christmas stocking. I counted them every day. It started off as twenty and went down by twos. I told my parents that there were only two left. I said I wasn’t eating them, but they didn’t believe me.
A week later, I was in the pantry looking for my marshmallows. All I could find was an empty packet. My parents believed me because it was the second time. They told my sister and she confessed. I was so cross that I demanded that she give me her lollies. She did!
